Iracon PU Adhesive is a premium, two-component, polyurethane based tile adhesive designed for the installation of various tile and stone materials on both interior and exterior surfaces. Classified as S2 under EN 12004 standards, it offers exceptional deformability, making it ideal for substrates subject to movement or vibration.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Installation of ceramic, vitrified, and natural stone tiles on floors and walls, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Suitable for substrates such as concrete, metal, plywood, drywall boards, and existing tiles.
  • Ideal for areas subject to movement, vibration, or thermal variation.

PACKAGING:

  • Available in 4 kg pre-measured kits containing both components. Storage:
  • Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in unopened, original packaging.
  • Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Ensure that both components are kept in their original containers until ready for use.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Open Time: Approximately 60 minutes.
  • Adjustability Time: Approximately 60 minutes.
  • Pot Life: Approximately 60 minutes at 25°C.
  • Application Thickness: 3–6 mm.
  • Shear Adhesion Strength • Initial: ≥ 5.0 N/mm².
  • After Water Immersion: ≥ 5.0 N/mm².
  • After Thermal Shock: ≥ 5.0 N/mm².
  • Slip Resistance: ≤ 0.5 mm.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Do not add solvents or other additives to the adhesive mixture, as this may compromise performance.
  • Avoid application in temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C.
  • Protect the tiled area from water exposure and heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured
